Compensation Analyst
Salary - $50,000-$75,000
Job Description
Conducts job evaluations by working closely with local HR teams and management to understand and define the role.
Determines FLSA status and salary grade.
Analyzes and researches internal and external equity issues.
Conducts, analyzes and participates in published survey submissions to study local market and salary trends.
Develops and administers the salary administration and job description database applications.
Develops tables, reports, queries, etc.
Links database information with other HRIS sources to develop and maintain standard compensation reports, statistics and metrics.
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated computer proficiency including advanced Microsoft Access and Excel Strong attention to detail
Analytical mindset, with focus on using analytics to support business cases
Knowledge
Working knowledge of most areas of compensation
Must be skilled in job analysis, job evaluation, market analysis and knowledgeable in local laws⁄regulations and labor markets and trends impacting compensation
Master's degree preferred.
CCP designation also preferred.
