Public Accounting
Tax Manager⁄Senior Manager
Salary - $80,000-$120,000
Description:
Preparing and reviewing complex individual, partnership, corporate and estate and trust tax returns
Researching issues involved in Federal, state and local tax planning projects
Dealing with IRS, state and local authorities, representation of clients at audits
Prepare quarterly tax estimates and year-end projections
Significant client contact⁄ responsibility for handling clients
Supervision of tax staff
Routine administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Excellent technical background developed from preparing and reviewing income tax returns for all types of entities
CPA or EA required, Masters in Taxation desired, but not required
Strong computer skills. Knowledge of ProSystem is a plus
Ability to work in a paperless environment
Ability to manage jobs to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints
Willingness to learn and be a team player
Highly motivated with strong analytical, computer and oral⁄written communication skills
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the accounting field
Build strong working relationships with clients
Manage staff performance, conduct timely performance reviews, and provide performance feedback
